What is a voice-powered memory book?

A printed book of someone's stories that keeps their voice as well as their words. With Senarra, a parent or grandparent tells a story out loud, Senarra keeps the recording and writes down exactly what was said, and the printed book carries a code beside each recorded story that plays it. What is included in the $99 Senarra Keepsake Bundle?

Does my parent need the app?

No. They call (978) 736-2772 from any phone or landline, enter your family's six-digit code, and talk. Senarra can ask them questions, or they can just start telling a story. You choose the stories and build the book.

Does the Keepsake Bundle renew automatically?

No. Nothing renews and no card is kept. When the twelve months end, the account moves to the free membership and nothing that was recorded is deleted.

Does the gift expire?

No. A gift code does not expire and can be redeemed once. The twelve months start when the code is redeemed, and the book that comes with it can be ordered at any time, even after the twelve months have ended.

How many pages are in the included book?

The bundle's Keepsake Book is a 5.8 × 8.3 in hardcover with 100 pages included. More pages cost $10 for each extra 25, up to 200. The larger Heritage Book (US Letter, 100 pages) costs only the $10 difference.

Is shipping included?

Yes, standard shipping to a U.S. address is included for the bundled book. Books ship to U.S. addresses only for now.

Who should I give it to?

To whoever will gather the stories: often a son or daughter, sometimes the storyteller themselves. The code is emailed to you with a printable gift page, and it needs a free Senarra account to redeem.

How do the voice recordings appear in the printed book?

Each recorded story is printed with a scannable listening code beside it. Anyone holding the book can point a phone camera at a code and hear that one story. A code opens nothing else, and you can turn any code off, and back on, whenever you like.

Is the book written by AI?

Not for recorded stories. A recorded story is printed word for word, exactly as it was told, and making the book never rewrites anything. Stories saved from a guided interview appear as Senarra's written summary of that conversation, and the last page of the book says so plainly.

Can one book be about more than one person?

Yes. One book can be about up to five of your loved ones, with their photos together on the cover and a section for each person if you want one.

What if we already have a Senarra membership?

A bundle cannot be added to an account that already has a paid membership. If that is your situation, write to support@senarra.app and we will help.
