How Senarra handles your memories, voice, and personal data.
Senarra is built around a simple principle: the memories you preserve belong to you and the people you choose to share them with. This policy describes what we collect, why, and what we will never do.
Senarra ("we," "us," "our") is a product of Cindara Novera, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company based in Warner Robins, Georgia, United States. Contact: privacy@senarra.app.
When you create a Senarra account, we collect your email address, a password (or Apple Sign-In credential), and your display name. We use this to authenticate you and to communicate about your account.
You can start using Senarra without an account. In that case we create an anonymous record so your work is saved on your device's session, and we hold no email address or name for you until you choose to register. If you later create an account, that anonymous record is linked to it.
When you add a loved one, add a memory, upload media, or answer Portrait questions, we store that content on our servers (Google Firebase, located in the United States). This includes:
When someone calls the Call Senarra phone line, we receive the calling phone number and the audio of what they choose to share, and we generate a transcript from it. The line states at the start of every call that the call may be saved as a memory including the audio, and offers the caller a way to decline recording before they enter the access code. Callers who decline are still transcribed but their audio is not retained. We do not place outbound calls and we do not record anyone who has not called in and been told this.
The Senarra website uses Google Analytics to see which pages people visit. It sets a cookie, so we ask first: nothing analytics-related loads and no cookie is set unless you choose “Accept” on the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, Google Analytics is never loaded at all.
This measures website traffic only. It has no access to your memories, your loved ones, your recordings, or anything inside the Senarra app. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we never sell or share this data for advertising.
You can change your choice at any time: review your cookie choice.
We collect limited technical information to operate the service: device type, operating system version, approximate region, and app performance data (crash logs, error reports). We do not collect precise location, advertising identifiers, or browsing history.
If you subscribe to a paid tier, payment is processed by Apple (App Store), Google (Google Play), or Stripe (web), depending on where you subscribed. We receive confirmation of subscription status but never receive or store your card or payment details.
We use your information solely to:
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or memories to anyone, for any purpose, ever. This is a hard rule, not a marketing claim.
Your memories, Portrait entries, voice recordings, transcriptions, and chat conversations are not used to train Senarra's AI models or the models of any third-party provider. Your content is used only to power responses within your own account.
When you invite a family member to view a loved one, they can see the memories and media you have marked as shared. They cannot see Portrait entries, private notes, or memories you have marked private. You control the level of access at all times.
Senarra uses the following subprocessors to operate the service. Each is bound by contractual data-protection obligations:
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Senarra, our users, or others. If such disclosure is legally required, we will attempt to notify you unless legally prohibited from doing so.
You can request an export of all your data at any time by emailing privacy@senarra.app from your registered account. Exports include all memories, media files, transcripts, and metadata. Portrait entries require separate confirmation.
You can delete individual memories, loved ones, or your entire account at any time from within the app. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Deleted data is removed from our primary systems immediately and purged from backups within 30 days.
You can correct any information about yourself or your loved ones at any time from within the app.
If you are a resident of California, the European Union, or the United Kingdom, you have additional rights under applicable privacy laws including the right to access, portability, correction, deletion, and (where applicable) the right to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@senarra.app.
Senarra is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us at privacy@senarra.app and we will delete it.
We retain your account and content for as long as your account exists. If your trial ends or you cancel a paid subscription, your account becomes read-only — your memories, media, and transcripts remain stored and viewable, and export stays available on every membership, including the free one. We do not delete your archive because you stopped paying, and there is no time limit on retrieving it.
Your content is deleted when you delete it, or when you delete your account — both of which you control from inside the app. If we ever needed to change this and delete inactive accounts, we would email you first and give you time to export.
We encrypt data in transit using TLS and at rest using industry-standard encryption. Authentication uses Firebase Auth with optional Apple Sign-In. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of any breach that materially affects your data.
Senarra servers are located in the United States. If you access Senarra from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using Senarra, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and within the app. Your continued use of Senarra after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
