Senarra is a voice-powered memory book for a family's stories. A parent or grandparent tells their stories over an ordinary phone call or in the app, and Senarra prints them word for word in a professionally printed hardcover book, with photos and a scannable listening code beside each recorded story that plays their voice.
A recording goes onto the page exactly as it was said, pauses and sayings and all. Making the book never rewrites a thing.
Point a phone camera at the code beside a story and the original recording plays. No app and no account to listen.
Your parent can tell every story over an ordinary phone call. You choose the stories and make the book.
They call (978) 736-2772 from any phone or landline, or record in the app. Let Senarra ask the questions, or just start talking about whatever comes to mind.
Tick the stories you want, put them in order, and pick the photos for each one. The page count and price update as you go.
Read the exact file that will be printed and approve it. Then a person at Senarra looks over your book before it goes to print.
A hardcover, printed to order and shipped to any US address with tracking. Order up to ten copies, and more whenever you like.
Every Senarra book is a hardcover with its own front cover: the photo you choose, their name, a date line and a subtitle you write. Pick one of five cover colors when you make the book.
Shown: the front cover of a sample Keepsake Book, 5.8 × 8.3 in, in burgundy. The family is illustrative.
These are pages from a sample book, made with the same layout your book will use.
A story to a page, a voice beside it. The title, the date, their words, your photos, and a code that plays the recording. When the recordings are theirs, the label says whose voice it is.
Laid out for you. A cover with their photo in the color you choose, a contents page, and room for a dedication. Add a section page for each person or each year if you want the book in parts.
Room for the family, and an honest last page. Spare pages can be ruled for relatives to write their own memories by hand. The closing page says plainly how the book was made.
Sample book. The family and stories shown are illustrative.
Other story books turn a recording into polished prose. Senarra prints what was actually said, so the page reads the way they talk.
Turn any listen code off, and back on, whenever you like. A code that is off simply stops working, even in a book that is already printed.
Put Mom and Dad in the same book, or all four grandparents. One book can be about up to five of your loved ones, with their photos together on the cover.
A book for Mom. Another for Dad. One for each of the children. Every loved one on your membership can have their own, and you can make as many as you like. You pay only for the copies you print.
You approve the exact print file, and then someone at Senarra reviews it before it is sent to the printer.
The recordings behind the book stay yours. Your whole archive, every recording included, exports in one tap on every membership, including the free one.
A printed book of someone's stories that keeps their voice as well as their words. With Senarra, a parent or grandparent tells a story out loud, over an ordinary phone call or in the app, Senarra keeps the recording and writes down exactly what was said, and the printed hardcover carries a code beside each recorded story that plays it.
Yes. The Senarra Keepsake Bundle is $99 paid once and can be given as a gift code that does not expire: 12 months of the Legacy membership and one hardcover Keepsake Book with 100 pages included (more can be added) and US shipping.
The Keepsake Book is $49 with 50 pages included, then $10 for each extra 25 pages. The Heritage Book is $79 with 100 pages included, then $15 for each extra 25. Both go up to 200 pages. Shipping is added at the printer's rate and shown before you pay. Books are ordered from the Imprint membership ($9.99 a month) and above, or come with the $99 bundle.
Yes. The Senarra Keepsake Bundle is $99 paid once: twelve months of the Legacy membership and one printed Keepsake Book with 100 pages included (more can be added), and US shipping. The book is already paid for, so there is nothing more to pay for it; if you would rather have the larger Heritage Book you pay only the difference, from $10. Nothing renews and no card is kept, and the book can be ordered at any time, even after the twelve months. Each year you buy comes with one book. You can buy it for your own family or give it as a gift.
No. A recorded story is printed word for word, exactly as it was told, and making the book never rewrites anything. Stories saved from a guided interview appear as Senarra's written summary of that conversation, and the last page of the book says so plainly.
Each recorded story has a code beside it. Point a phone camera at it and the original recording plays. No app and no account are needed to listen. You can turn any code off, and back on, whenever you like.
No. A code keeps working for as long as the recording is in your Senarra archive, including if you move to the free membership. It stops if you turn it off, or delete the recording, the loved one, or your account.
The codes play from Senarra, so they would stop if Senarra did. The book would not: every recorded story is printed word for word, and the words stay on the page whatever happens to us. The recordings are yours to keep as well. On any membership, including the free one, you can save your whole archive, every recording included, to your own device or to Google Drive, and that copy plays without Senarra. We suggest doing it when your book arrives and keeping the copy with the book.
No. With Call Senarra your parent calls (978) 736-2772 from any phone or landline, enters your family's six-digit code, and talks. You choose the stories and build the book.
Yes. One book can be about up to five of your loved ones, with their photos together on the cover and a section for each person if you want one.
As many as you like. Every loved one on your membership can have their own book, you can make more than one book about the same person, and one book can be about several people. Imprint covers three loved ones, Legacy ten, and Eternal has no limit. You pay for each copy you print.
